What does IP 67 mean?

Protection standards are liable to DIN Norms and always start with IP (International Protection or Ingress Protection). The first digit indicates the level of protection that the enclosure provides against access to hazardous parts and the ingress of solid foreign objects whereby “6” indicates “dust tight”. The second digit indicates the level of protection that the enclosure provides against harmful ingress of water whereby the “7” indicates “protected against ingress of water” (max. 30min at 1m below the surface).

Can I use the CEECOACH XTREME for diving?

No, communication under water does not work with CEECOACH (Bluetooth® Technology).

Can I use another headset with the CEECOACH XTREME?

Yes, you can use any other headset with a standard 3.5 mm jack plug. For using it at water sports or in extreme conditions the headset should be water-resistant.

Is the XTREME protection cover available as accessory?

No, the XTREME cover is available with the XTREME Edition set only.

Why does the XTREME Edition not function with a Mono Headset?

The CEECOACH XTREME is programmed to work with the Jabra Stereo-Headset. If you use a mono headset you can experience acustic feedback. In this case please configurate your headset via the Update program for your mono headset. A manual how to do this is provided under software update on www.peiker-cee.de
